TruAlt Bioenergy's Q2 FY27 call, held on 26 October 2026, reported revenue of ₹811 crore against ₹115 crore a year earlier and ₹627 crore in Q1, EBITDA of ₹114 crore at a margin of about 14%, and profit after tax of ₹35 crore against a loss of ₹38 crore.

First-half revenue was ₹1,438 crore, EBITDA ₹261 crore and profit after tax ₹94 crore. The margin eased from Q1 because maize prices rose 25% to 30%, and management expects the average ethanol EBITDA margin to drop 1% to 2% this year, with Q3 and Q4 better than Q2. The ethanol allocation for the last supply year rose to about 40 crore litres, 8.5 crore litres of orders are in hand, and a new tender that bans sugarcane juice and B-heavy molasses should favour grain-based plants.

In compressed biogas, the first 20 tonne-a-day joint-venture plant is running, two more are due this quarter, and capacity should reach about 72 tonnes a day. The sustainable aviation fuel road map is still awaited.
