Consolidated revenue was ₹986 crore and profit after tax ₹120 crore. Exports were ₹262.7 crore, 27% of revenue, while rail was only 16% because a rail tender was delayed. The new Bharuch plant earned about ₹75 crore and ran at about 60% utilisation, with its roller bearing lines for industrial customers at 70% and below 60%; management expects 70% to 75% by year end.
A rail line expansion at Jamshedpur starts trial runs in November and December, and the merger of Timken GGB Technology into the company is progressing through the regulatory process.
