View full dashboardState Bank of India delivered its highest-ever quarterly net profit of ₹21,028 crore in Q3 FY26, marking a strong 24.49% year-on-year growth.
Operating profit surged 39.54% to ₹32,862 crore, driven by 9% net interest income growth, robust fee income, and controlled credit costs at just 0.29%. Asset quality reached its best level in over two decades with gross NPA declining to 1.57% and net NPA at 0.39%. The bank maintains ROA above 1% and ROE at 20.68% despite operating at ₹72 trillion balance sheet scale. Credit growth accelerated to 15.14% across all segments, prompting management to revise guidance upward to 13-15%.
The new YONO platform crossed 3 crore registrations within one month, reflecting successful digital transformation. Chairman C S Setty emphasized the bank's long-term strategy aligned with Viksit Bharat 2047, focusing on lowering cost to serve while maintaining NIM guidance at 3% through cycles. CHAKRA Centre of Excellence was launched to support emerging sunrise sectors with prudent capital allocation.
