View full dashboardSapphire Foods India's Q2 FY27 call, held on 22 October 2026, showed a KFC and Pizza Hut operator posting its best growth since the COVID period while costs rise.
Revenue grew 20% to ₹885 crore and adjusted EBITDA grew 39% to ₹62.4 crore, with the adjusted margin up 100 basis points to 7.1%. KFC same-store sales rose 14%, close to double digit after the Navratri timing shift, with revenue up 26%, driven by ₹99 and ₹149 entry-value offers that lifted transactions in dine-in and takeaway. Pizza Hut same-store sales rose 5%, the best in seven quarters, but its restaurant margin was still a loss of 2.8% on energy costs.
Sri Lanka grew 5% on a same-store basis. Reported profit before tax was a loss of ₹0.6 crore after lease accounting. Management expects cost inflation to peak in Q3, will stay cautious on pricing and is raising marketing spend, accepting some gross margin loss to drive growth. It still plans 60 to 80 new KFC stores and no new Pizza Hut stores in 2026, pending CCI approval of the Devyani coordination. No earlier promises were on file for comparison.
