Rallis India's Q2 FY27 call, held on 23 October 2026, reported revenue of ₹858 crore, flat on the year, as 5% price growth was offset by a similar fall in volume.

EBITDA fell 18% to ₹126 crore and profit after tax fell 17% to ₹85 crore. Management blamed deficient and erratic rain across Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana, plus a Middle East war that raised freight and input costs. Crop Care revenue rose 4% to ₹788 crore, with soil and plant health up 22% and contract manufacturing at ₹27 crore against ₹2 crore, while domestic crop protection volume fell 7%.

Seeds revenue fell 31% to ₹70 crore and broke even at EBITDA. First-half revenue rose 3% to ₹1,880 crore and profit after tax rose 6% to ₹210 crore. Cash and liquid balance was about ₹211 crore, with inventory above last year. Management said kharif returns are provided for, expects capex in the second half to exceed the first and the full year to run a little above ₹50 crore, still expects free cash flow this year, and expects next season to be significantly better if rainfall normalises.
