Nippon Life India Asset Management's Q2 FY27 call, held on 22 October 2026, reported a record quarterly operating profit of ₹5.23 billion, up 25% on the year, on revenue of ₹7.96 billion, up 21%.

Profit after tax fell to ₹3.24 billion because of a ₹96.76 crore exceptional item paid to settle a SEBI matter over Yes Bank AT-1 bonds. Mutual fund quarterly average AUM rose 19.9% to ₹7.87 trillion, market share was 9.02%, flat on the quarter, and the company was the fastest-growing top-10 AMC in the first half. Blended yield was 37 basis points, with equity yield down to 52 from 54 on telescopic pricing as equity AUM grew.

Management said a SIP book of close to ₹3,200 crore a month protects net sales as markets fall, that it has launched no new fund offers in two quarters, and that it awaits SEBI clearance for specialised investment funds. The cost growth guide of 18% to 20% over the next six to eight quarters was held, and an interim dividend of ₹9.50 a share was declared. No earlier promises were on file for comparison.
