Music Broadcast Limited, which runs Radio City, held its Q2 FY27 call on 27 October 2026.

Revenue was ₹41 crore, up about 8% on the year but down from ₹44.5 crore in Q1, which management linked to a softer environment after an earlier festive start last year. Total expenses fell about 20% to ₹34.8 crore, so operating profit before tax was ₹1.5 crore against an operating loss of ₹13.3 crore a year ago, and reported profit before tax was ₹8.9 crore against a loss of ₹6.4 crore. For the first half, revenue slipped about 2% to ₹85.5 crore, expenses fell about 23% and reported profit before tax was ₹21.2 crore.

Non-FCT revenue is about 18% to 20% of the total and management plans profitable events in Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets. Net cash on book is ₹283 crore, there are no buyback plans, and the CFO would not comment on dividends. Management said it cannot give guidance for the next two years because of market and geopolitical uncertainty, expects current profitability to continue and hopes for a better festive season than last year.
