ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Ltd.Strong Growth with 23% PAT Rise

ICICI Prudential AMC delivered robust Q1 FY27 results with profit after tax growing 23.1% year-on-year to ₹965 crores, driven by strong operating leverage and market leadership.

Operating revenue increased 17.6% to ₹1,564 crores while operating margins expanded 80 basis points to 36.9 bps. The company maintained its leadership position in equity and equity-oriented schemes with 14% market share and quarterly average AUM of ₹6.31 lakh crores, outperforming industry growth by 3.6 percentage points. Total mutual fund AUM reached ₹11.17 lakh crores, up 18.3% year-on-year. The company captured 70% of industry's new customer additions, taking its unique customer base to 1.73 crores.

Management emphasized strategic focus on dynamic asset allocation products for a moderate return environment, with the company commanding 26.6% market share in equity-oriented hybrid schemes. AI-driven automation now handles 60% of customer email queries, with further expansion planned. The company is launching life cycle funds, contra fund, and multiple ETFs over the next nine months to strengthen its product portfolio.
