The company posted its highest quarterly EBITDA of ₹7,747 crore with an industry-leading margin of fifty-seven percent, and net profit surged sixty-eight percent year-on-year to ₹5,033 crore. For the full year, Hindustan Zinc crossed historic milestones of ₹40,000 crore revenue and ₹20,000 crore EBITDA while achieving a five-year low cost of production at nine hundred fifty-nine dollars per ton, beating guidance. Silver contributed forty-five percent to overall profitability.
The company transformed its balance sheet from net debt of ₹1,169 crore to net cash of ₹5,594 crore. Management unveiled ambitious expansion plans with a consolidated one million ton smelter facility in Rajasthan, expecting orders by mid-2026. For FY27, the company guided mined metal production of eleven hundred fifty kilotons and refined metal production of eleven hundred kilotons, representing approximately four to five percent growth, while targeting renewable energy expansion from eighteen percent to thirty to thirty-five percent.
