Hindustan Zinc delivered an exceptional third quarter with record-breaking financial performance across all key metrics.

The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹10,980 crores, up twenty-eight percent quarter-on-quarter and twenty-seven percent year-on-year, driven by robust production volumes, favorable commodity prices, and rupee depreciation. EBITDA surged to a record ₹6,087 crores with industry-leading margins of fifty-five percent, while net profit reached ₹3,916 crores, up forty-eight percent sequentially. Operationally, the company delivered best-ever Q3 mined metal production of 276,000 tons and achieved a five-year low zinc cost of production at $940 per ton, down ten percent year-on-year.

Silver's contribution to profits expanded to forty-four percent amid price rallies. The company transitioned from net debt to net cash position of ₹329 crores. Management remains confident about sustaining cost leadership at $950-$1,000 per ton while progressing on 2x expansion projects at Debari and Rampura Agucha, targeted for completion by FY28-29. Renewable energy transition to seventy percent will deliver additional annual savings of ₹250-300 crores.
