The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of ₹8,074 crores with an industry-leading 59% margin, translating to record net profit of ₹5,469 crores, up 145% year-on-year. Operationally, the company posted its fifth consecutive year of record Q1 mine metal production at 268,000 tons, while achieving the lowest-ever quarterly zinc cost of production at USD 851 per ton, down 16% year-on-year. Management remains highly confident in achieving FY27 guidance of 1.1 million tons refined metal production and maintaining cost leadership at USD 975-1,000 per ton.
Strategically, the company secured a rare earth elements mining lease in Karnataka, advancing its diversification into critical minerals, while major growth projects including the Debari smelter and a 600+ KTPA mega-smelter progress on schedule. The company paid an interim dividend of ₹11 per share while maintaining a net cash position of ₹5,572 crores.
