Hindustan Unilever delivered its strongest quarterly performance in three years with revenue growth of 6% and underlying volume growth of 4%, marking the highest volume expansion in 12 quarters.

The broad-based recovery spanned all four business segments, with Beauty & Wellbeing, Personal Care, and Foods each posting 6% underlying sales growth, while Home Care recorded 3% growth impacted by previous price reductions that will anniversarize by June quarter. EBITDA stood at Rs 3,788 crores, up 3% year-on-year, with margins at 23.3% within guided range. Management expressed strong confidence in sustaining momentum, explicitly guiding that FY27 growth will exceed FY26 performance.

Strategic initiatives include establishing a dedicated quick commerce organization as this channel doubled quarter-on-quarter to reach 3% of business, completing the Rs 824 crore acquisition of remaining 49% stake in OZiva to build a Rs 1,100 crore masstige D2C portfolio, and restructuring reporting lines with all business heads now directly reporting to the CEO for faster India-focused decision-making.
