View full dashboardFairchem Organics' Q2 FY27 call, held on 23 October 2026, reported revenue of ₹167 crore, up 49.7% on the year, an EBITDA margin of 10.5% and net profit of ₹10.2 crore.
For the half, revenue was ₹343 crore, up 41.4%, EBITDA ₹35.4 crore at 10.3% and net profit ₹21.2 crore. Realisation rose to ₹135 a kg from ₹106 a year ago as raw material cost fell and finished prices firmed. Management said Chinese dumping of dimer acid has eased and the cut in crude soybean oil import duty from 16.5% to 11% should improve raw material availability and prices, lifting capacity utilisation from 60% to 65%.
A new-technology product has slipped to the October to December quarter, exports to the US wait for lower freight, and cosmetic demand for isostearic acid is weak in Europe. Management would love margins of 15% to 18% but gave no forecast and has no expansion plans until the new product succeeds. No earlier promises were on file for comparison.
