DCB Bank's Q2 FY27 call, held on 23 October 2026, reported net profit of ₹236 crore, up 29% on the year and the highest ever in a quarter for the fifth quarter in a row.

ROA was 1.03% and ROE 14.6%. Advances grew 21% and deposits 19%, net interest income rose 17% and operating profit 26%, with cost-to-income at an 18-quarter low of 59.64%. Credit cost was 0.28%, gross NPA 2.29% and net NPA 0.73%, both 23-quarter lows, and provision coverage rose to 81.38%. Net interest margin fell on the quarter because the bank carried surplus liquidity, including $194 million of FCNR(B) deposits raised in August, and management expects margin to improve in Q3 and Q4 as floating-rate loans reprice from November.

Gold loans are 23% of assets against a 25% cap, and gold NPA is ₹26 crore on a book of about ₹14,000 crore. Management said a capital raise is close, with a firm commitment due before the next investor call and no issue below book value. It held its 13.5% ROE target as a floor and gave no new guidance.
