Bandhan Bank's Q2 FY27 call, held on 28 October 2026, reported net total income of ₹3,655 crore, up 17%, operating profit of ₹1,556 crore, up 18.8%, and profit after tax of ₹622 crore, 5.5 times a year earlier.

ROA reached 1.2% and ROE 9.3%. The loan book grew 13% to about ₹1.58 lakh crore, with non-EEB lending up 20% and the microfinance EEB book stable at ₹52,616 crore after several quarters of decline. Deposits grew 4.7% on the quarter to about ₹1.73 lakh crore without FCNR(B) support, but the CASA ratio fell to 26.7% after savings rates were recalibrated. NIM held at 6.1%, gross NPA was 3.1% and net NPA 0.9%, and EEB collection efficiency rose to 99.3%.

The bank launched credit cards, and its loan mix is now roughly one-third each EEB, wholesale and retail with housing. Management kept its 14% loan growth target, 6.1% to 6.2% NIM range and Q4 exit ROA guidance of 1.2% to 1.4%. It flagged an ECL transition hit of about ₹2,200 crore to capital and possible pressure on fees from draft bancassurance caps.
