View full dashboardBajaj Auto's Q2 FY27 call, held on 27 October 2026, reported a record quarter that management called a festival of records.
Volumes passed 15 lakh units, up 20%, revenue topped ₹20,000 crore, up 34%, EBITDA reached ₹4,172 crore at a steady 20.9% margin, and profit after tax reached ₹3,354 crore, up 35%. Exports rose 41% to 7.8 lakh units, led by Africa and Latin America, and free cash flow was nearly ₹4,000 crore. Input costs added 3% to 3.5% of revenue on top of 4% to 4.5% in Q1; price rises covered 50% to 60% of the first-half hit and a rupee near ₹95.5 helped.
A further price rise in October covers only about 30% of the Q3 inflation, so management is watching the festive market. The Chetak electric scooter reached 23% share but supply capped it at 40,000 units in September, and capacity will rise to 80,000 a month by Q4. Group capacity will grow from 625,000 to 775,000 units a month. Of 12 earlier promises, four were met, seven are on track and one was partly met.
