The company achieved nine percent volume growth with decorative business expanding sixteen point six percent, driven by rural market outperformance and a six point eight percent weighted average price increase. Consolidated PBDIT margins expanded by two hundred forty basis points to twenty point six percent despite facing twenty-five percent raw material inflation. International business emerged as a standout performer with twenty-seven percent revenue growth and PBT doubling year-on-year.
Management announced the commissioning of India's first VAM-VAE backward integration plant in August with expected gross margin benefits of three hundred to five hundred basis points. The company maintained its full-year volume growth guidance of eight to ten percent and PBDIT margin band of eighteen to twenty percent. However, management expressed caution regarding all-time high competitive intensity and ongoing raw material volatility driven by geopolitical concerns.
