The company announced 14 expansion projects adding about 30 million tons of cement capacity for about ₹14,500 crore, to reach 149 million tons by FY29 and 155 million tons by FY30, funded from internal cash flow.
The mergers of ACC and Orient Cement go to the tribunal and are expected to complete this financial year. Management expects second-half volume growth ahead of the industry at a higher single digit and exit utilisation near 75%, but flagged fuel inflation, drought in large states and Q2 utilisation of only 61% to 62%.
