Adani Ports delivered robust Q1 FY27 performance with revenue and EBITDA both growing 19% year-on-year to ₹10,821 crores and ₹6,541 crores respectively, while maintaining a healthy net debt-to-EBITDA ratio of 1.9x.

The international ports segment was the standout performer, delivering a record quarter with revenue surging 80% to ₹1,747 crores and EBITDA jumping 256%, driven by high-margin Australian and Colombo operations that expanded margins to 41.8%. Domestic ports sustained industry-leading 74% EBITDA margins despite modest 2% volume growth impacted by external factors including customer plant shutdowns and Middle East disruptions.

S&P Global upgraded the company to BBB rating, achieving sovereign parity. Management reaffirmed Ambition 2031 targets to more than double revenue, EBITDA, and cash flows by FY31 at 18-19% CAGR, while maintaining FY27 EBITDA guidance of ₹25,000-26,000 crores pending H1 assessment. Strategic initiatives include accelerated capacity expansion to 1 billion metric tons, logistics RoCE improvement beyond the 10% achieved in FY26, and disciplined international M&A evaluation using a four-rule framework focused on stable geographies and immediate cash generation.
